Supported Employment [SEE]
People with more serious limitations in their ability to work are repeatedly referred to workshops for disabled people, who, with targeted individual support, certainly have a chance of being integrated into the general labor market.
UB offers this group of people an opportunity for self-determined participation in working life. The identified specific support needs form the basis for the design of the three project phases: entry/orientation, qualification, and stabilization.
We are looking for suitable companies near the participants' places of residence. A key selection criterion for the on-the-job training and qualification placement is its suitability to individual requirements and the fundamental possibility of subsequent employment. Qualification trainers support and guide the participants throughout the entire process. They work together with the company staff to design the onboarding process. Work procedures are practiced step by step and internalized through frequent repetition.

The target group includes people whose participation in social life is permanently impaired due to the nature and severity of their disability, but who can achieve and maintain employment on the general labor market with the help of this measure.
