GET STARTED

The offer is aimed at people who need support in taking up subsidized employment (“Fit for the Job”; Section 45) or who are in subsidized employment within the framework of a relationship subject to social insurance contributions (Section 16 e/16i SGB II).

Target group

  • Persons who meet the funding requirements under Section 16e/16i but who have not yet taken up subsidised employment [“Fit for the Job”; Section 45].
  • Persons who are supported within the framework of an employment relationship subject to social insurance contributions in accordance with Section 16e/16i.

Goals

  • “Fit for the Job” (§45): Review of previous application activities, creation of an individual applicant profile or updating of application documents, increasing initiative and motivation, placement in subsidized employment subject to social insurance contributions.
  • Getting started (§16e/16i): Stabilisation of subsidised employment, involvement of company contacts, preparation of transitions to unsubsidised employment.

Content & Services

  • “Fit for the Job” (§45): Conducting individual interviews, small group offers, matching with job offers, preparation and support for the company trial, preparation and support for the transition to subsidized employment.
  • Get started (§16e/16i): Advice and support available throughout the entire funding period, individual coaching offers in the form of one-on-one discussions, advice and support at the workplace, involvement of the employer.

Duration & Course

  • "Fit for the Job" (§45): Individual entry is possible. The program lasts up to 6 months, with attendance days two days per week.
  • Get started (§16e/16i): Individual entry is possible. The duration is agreed upon individually and determined before the start of the program.

Financial support

The funding is provided by the Jobcenter Gießen.
