Disability-specific vocational preparation measures [BvB-Reha]

With the vocational preparation measures for people with special educational needs [BvB-Reha], we improve the chances of young people who need special assistance due to their educational needs to find an apprenticeship or a job.

Target audience

This offer is aimed at young people and young adults with special educational needs who do not yet have the required maturity for vocational training or professional aptitude, or whose professional skills should be improved.

Goals

• Preparation and integration into training or employment
• If necessary, preparation for obtaining a secondary school leaving certificate at a later date.

• Competency analysis at the beginning of the measure

• Career guidance / career choice
• Job application training
• Telephone training
• Language support
• Company internships and company visits
• General education and subsequent acquisition of the secondary school leaving certificate
• Workshops on IT and media literacy
• Workshops to strengthen basic skills
• Specialized theoretical schooling with special educational needs
• Acquisition of qualification modules from recognized training occupations and project work
• Daytime leisure activities

Duration & Course

Entry into the vocational rehabilitation program (BvB-Reha) is generally possible at any time after consultation with the employment agency. The duration depends on individual support needs, the time model, integration prospects, and personal development. Individual extension options are available, but the maximum funding period is limited to 24 months.
