Disability-specific vocational training measures [BvB-Reha]

With the vocational preparatory training measures for people with special needs [BvB-Reha] we improve the chances of young people who require special support due to their special needs to obtain a training position or a job.

Target group

This offer is aimed at adolescents and young adults with special needs who do not yet have the necessary training maturity or professional aptitude or whose professional skills need to be improved.

Goals

• Preparation and integration into training or work
• if necessary, preparation for the subsequent acquisition of the secondary school certificate

• Competency analysis at the beginning of the measure

• Career orientation / career choice
• Application training
• Telephone training
• Language support
• Company internships and company shadowing
• General education and subsequent acquisition of the secondary school certificate
• Workshops on IT and media skills
• Workshops to strengthen basic skills
• specialist theoretical instruction with special needs
• Acquisition of qualification modules from recognized training occupations and project work
• Daytime leisure activities

Duration & Course

Entry into the BvB rehabilitation program is generally possible at any time after consultation with the Federal Employment Agency. The duration depends on the individual's support needs, the timeframe, integration opportunities, and personal development. Individual extensions are possible, but the maximum duration of support is limited to 24 months.
