Rehabilitation-specific training for people with disabilities [Rehab training]

Training for disabled people with special needs (rehabilitation training) enables young people who, due to their disability, would be unable to begin or successfully complete vocational training without support to begin a suitable vocational training program. The practical training takes place in partner companies authorized to provide training. The Bildungswerk der Hessischen Wirtschaft e. V. (BWHW) acquires these companies as the training provider and offers support and remedial instruction as well as socio-educational support.

Target group

The offer is aimed at young people and young adults under 25 years of age who are looking for a training place and who require special assistance due to their disability.

Duration & Course

Entry usually takes place at the beginning of the training year. The duration depends on the specific training occupation.

Financial support

The funding is provided by the employment agency and/or the basic security provider.
