Assisted Training [AsA flex] | Preliminary phase

The new AsA flex instrument will be available from spring 2021 with the preliminary phase as a support service for young people and [their] training companies.

In this context, the previous offers of training-accompanying assistance [abH] and assisted training [AsA alt] will be merged to form assisted training [AsA flex].

The AsA flex can be carried out in two phases – the preliminary phase, which takes place at some locations, is optional, while the accompanying phase is a mandatory project component at all AsA flex locations.

Target group

Eligible for funding are young people who cannot begin or continue vocational training without support, or who are likely to have difficulty completing their training. In-company training can also be supported under AsA flex.

• Preliminary phase: Obtaining a suitable company-based apprenticeship or entry-level qualification and securing the career choice

• Positioning and profiling, individual support
• Career orientation and application training
• Accompanying practical work experience [internship]
• active acquisition of internship and training positions
• Preparation for training

Services for businesses:

• Help in creating the training requirements
• Support in the selection decision
• Support in the training of people with disabilities
