Activation aids for younger people
The activation support program is aimed at young people and young adults who have not yet succeeded in entering vocational training or employment. Through project-based work, tailored support services, and individual mentoring, we help them to better understand their strengths and weaknesses. Within the framework of these projects, we activate and motivate participants and guide them towards vocational training or employment.
Target audience
This offer is aimed at clients of the employment agency under the age of 25. This group of young people and young adults has in common that they lack initial vocational training, develop key skills and social skills, and have completed compulsory schooling.

Introduction and integration into the education and employment system through intensive social and networking work
Content & Services
- Introductory phase for getting to know each other and for individual assessment of your position
- Project approaches in the areas of wood, metal, paint and household management for suitability assessment and testing.
- Getting to know operational practices and daily work routines under realistic conditions within operational phases
- Career guidance and introduction to the education and employment system
- Everyday usability with practical assistance
- Creation of application documents and application training
- Addiction and debt prevention
- Fundamentals of a healthy lifestyle
- Participant-related home visits and involvement of the social environment
- Expansion of job-related language skills
Duration & Course
The individual duration of participation is determined by the employment agency and is generally 6 months, with a maximum of 12 months. The weekly hours are 39 for full-time participants. Part-time participation is possible.
The project "Activation Assistance for Young People" is being carried out at the Frankfurt am Main location in combination with the program " Vocational Qualifying Language Support Plus [BQS+] ".
Financial support
The Hessian Business Education Association (Bildungswerk der Hessischen Wirtschaft e.V.) is conducting the project on behalf of the Federal Employment Agency. Registration is handled through the Employment Agency. In Frankfurt am Main, the project is funded by the Youth Job Center.
