Support during retraining

A solid vocational training is an important prerequisite for professional success and the best insurance against unemployment. With our retraining support services (ubH), we support you on your path to a qualified profession.

You are completing retraining in a recognized training occupation in the dual system.

To introduce you to learning, we offer you the opportunity to refresh your academic knowledge in a preparatory course for retraining (LVU). During the LVU, we will support you in finding a suitable retraining company for your desired retraining profession.

During your in-company retraining, we offer you job-specific support and are available to provide you and your company with advice and assistance.

Target group

The ubH is aimed at clients in the SGB II (Social Security Code II) area. Participation requires approval from the responsible job center. This usually requires prior participation in a professional aptitude assessment program.

• Socio-educational support and guidance for those undergoing retraining
• Preparation for intermediate and final exams

Duration & Course

The LVU lasts 13 weeks and takes place prior to the usually two-year in-company retraining.

Financial support

Funding is provided by the responsible SGB II funding agency.
