Support services accompanying retraining

Are you undertaking retraining in a recognized apprenticeship occupation within the dual system? The ubH program supports you on your path to successfully completing your retraining.

We help you confidently follow your vocational school lessons, master the demands of your retraining program, and alleviate any uncertainties or anxieties you may have. Another goal is to identify potential difficulties or risks of dropping out early on and work together to find suitable solutions. This will increase your chances of successfully completing your retraining.

In addition to the regular review of the subject matter, we offer you flexible, individual learning process support and tailored assistance – exactly where you need it.

Target audience

The retraining support services [ubH] with learning process support are an offer for people who are completing company-based individual retraining as trainees and who, in addition to support lessons, also want guidance and support in the learning process in order to ensure the success of the retraining.

Goals

• to be able to follow the technical content and vocational school lessons well,
• to meet the requirements of the retraining program
• to reduce potential uncertainties or anxieties that may arise from changes in the personal, social or professional environment.

Content & Services

• Weekly supplementary lessons parallel to the retraining program to address any learning gaps. These lessons are based on the current training framework and the vocational school curriculum.
• Preparation for intermediate and final exams
• Learning process support through individual support of the learning process and coaching

Duration & Course

The scope of support provided during retraining depends on the duration of your retraining.

Since trainees are rarely released from work by their companies to attend ubH's programs, classes and learning process support usually take place in the late afternoon or evening.

Special feature

It is also possible to receive support services during retraining without learning process support, i.e., to use only the remedial lessons.

Financial support

Support services accompanying retraining can be funded through an education voucher. Speak to your contact person at the job center or employment agency.
