PFLEQUA – Qualification in Nursing
With integrated further training as a care assistant §53b SGB XI

The PFLEQUA professional development program serves as an entry point into a career in the nursing field and as a foundation for further qualifications. It is designed to prepare you for employment and/or follow-up opportunities in both hospital and elderly care.

The measure includes qualification as a care worker according to § 53 b SGB XI.

We prepare you according to your needs for the demands of the nursing sector. In a personal application coaching session, we develop modern and compelling application documents.

Company internships and targeted placement activities by our specialists, accompanying qualification and job-related language support, will assist you in your entry into the nursing sector.

PFLEQUA is aimed at people who – with and without prior professional training – are interested in nursing professions.

• Fundamentals of Nursing in Theory and Practice [75 units]
• Practical training in nursing [81 units]
• Job-related communication training [40 units]
• Exercise and activation for seniors [30 units]
• Behavior in the care facility – Internship preparation [10 units]
• Fundamentals of legal studies in the nursing professions [30 teaching units]
• Nutrition and Diets [30 teaching units]
• Hygiene and occupational safety [25 teaching units]
• Special Pathology [40 teaching units]
• Psychology and Life Cycles [40 teaching units]
• Anatomy and Physiology [40 teaching units]
• First aid course [9 units]

The PFLEQUA project is being carried out at the Lauterbach site in combination with the program " Vocational Qualifying Language Support Plus [BQS+] ".

Duration & Course

The program runs for 26 weeks [part-time] and includes 450 teaching units (UE) of theory and practical training, as well as two four-week internships totaling 160 hours in elderly and nursing care facilities.
