Vocational training for migrants

Experience shows that many migrants lack sufficient language skills for their professional and work-related needs. Integration courses alone are not enough to provide a solid language foundation for entering a qualified job. This continuing education program combines job-related language training with practical experience in specific industries, forming the focus of the program.

Target group

• Employable women and men with a migration background
• Adults over 25 years of age who have already completed an intensive German language course
• People with increased language support needs [classification according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages B1]
• Benefit recipients under SGB III

Goals

The project is designed to help you combine the deepening of your language skills with the acquisition of basic professional knowledge and to develop it further in a practical way, such as German for sales or German for the catering industry. In this respect, job-related language training is an important focus throughout the entire continuing education program, alongside the acquisition of professional practice.

Duration & Course

The training program is offered full-time. Specific course times and start dates can be found in the flyer. The next start date in Wiesbaden is April 25, 2022.

Financial support

Participation is possible via a training voucher (issued by the employment agents at the employment agency or job center).
