Everything from a single source 2.0
The "One-Stop Shop" 2.0 program serves participants as a central point of contact with a dedicated contact person (social worker acting as a "caretaker") for diverse and evolving support and assistance needs. It is divided into a clearing phase and an activation phase.
Specific, individual barriers to integration are eliminated within the framework of a holistic approach.
Target audience
- Employable people entitled to benefits under the German Social Code, Book II (SGB II), with a refugee and/or migration background.
Goals
- Developing individual support services
- Introduction to the German training and labor market
- Career guidance
- Identification, reduction or elimination of barriers to mediation
- Placement in employment subject to social security contributions
- Stabilization of employment
Content & Services
The project aims to provide individual and needs-based support to participants, particularly through the following content:
- Individual support from social education professionals
- Individual coaching such as application support, acquisition of internships and/or jobs subject to social security contributions by job coaches
- Project-related work/production-oriented activities
- Promotion of key skills,
- the consolidation of vocational language skills
- Health orientation
- Promotion of socially integrative activities
- Knowledge assessment and transfer in the following occupational fields: nursing, hotel & catering, housekeeping, education, sales
Duration & Course
The clearing phase lasts one week per participant.
The activation phase has an individual duration, ranging from 3 to 6 months.
Financial support
The funding is provided by the Gießen Job Center.
