Qualified training support in companies and vocational schools - QuABB

The Qualified Training Support in Companies and Vocational Schools [QuABB] supports trainees, companies, vocational schools and parents in identifying problems in training at an early stage and helps to avert impending dropouts through professional advice and support.

Goals

QuABB aims to ensure a successful continuation of training through individual support or – should this no longer be possible – to develop a viable follow-up perspective.

Content & Services

The training support provides support with

• Difficulties at work, at vocational school and in private life,
• Conflict situations in training,
• managing crises,
• the search for common solutions with all parties involved such as parents, vocational schools, chambers, employment agencies/job centers, advice centers,
• Coordination and organization of individual assistance and support services.

The consultation is always confidential and free of charge.

Results

Qualified training support in companies and vocational schools (QuABB) has prevented a large number of training dropouts in recent years. At the same time, the advisors have been able to find new training companies or generate other effective solutions for participants who have dropped out.

With the involvement of teachers, guardians, or even in one-on-one sessions, crises were overcome and challenges were addressed. Many young people were able to benefit from the work of the training advisors and continue their life and training journeys.
