About the mobility consulting of the Hessian economy

With the project "Working and Learning in Europe - Mobility Consulting for the Hessian Economy," we aim to increase the number of Hessian trainees and young professionals completing internships abroad. International internships during training or employment increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises and the attractiveness of dual training. This expands our consulting services for companies, trainees, and young professionals.

Target group

The project is aimed at companies, trainees and young professionals, educational providers and institutions.

Goals

The offer aims to increase the number of internships abroad for Hessian trainees and young professionals.

Content & Services

For trainees

• Advice on topics and questions relating to training and career-related stays abroad
• Support in decision-making
• Clarification of financing and funding options
• Information on legal framework (not legal advice!)
• Support in communication with training companies and vocational schools or employers
• Intercultural preparation

For training companies and vocational schools

• Advice on the internationalization of vocational training and increasing the attractiveness of dual training
• Clarification of financing and funding options
• Advice on applying for your own Erasmus+ places
• Advice and support in establishing permanent cooperation with foreign partners based on the cross-mobility approach*

*In a cross-mobility, two trainees exchange their training company at the same time

The project “Working and Learning in Europe - Mobility Consulting for the Hessian Economy” is carried out jointly with the Chambers of Crafts and Trades of Frankfurt-Rhine-Main, the Chambers of Crafts and Trades of Kassel, and the Marburg Work and Education Centre.
