Partial qualification program TQ and TQplus Domestic manager
The modular partial qualification program for domestic service professionals offers job seekers or employed individuals the opportunity to gradually acquire a vocational qualification in the field of domestic services. The six modules can be completed individually without any specific time constraints. Together, all modules cover the content of the training regulations and thus provide a solid foundation for the external examination before the relevant chamber of commerce.
Target audience
- People without or without a usable vocational qualification, low-skilled workers who are either unemployed or looking for work.
- Individuals who are employed without formal qualifications and wish to further their professional development and/or obtain a vocational qualification by participating in the training program.
TQplus modules: People with a need for additional learning and integration support (e.g., migrants and the long-term unemployed), skilled and unskilled workers, and low-skilled job seekers
Goals
- Teaching of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in accordance with the chosen module.
- Achieving a self-contained, usable qualification with each module
- Upon completion of all modules: Creation of the basis for the external examination before the responsible chamber.

- Module 1: Cleaning and maintenance of living and functional areas in the profession of domestic worker
- Module 2: Everyday care services in the profession of domestic worker
- Module 3: Everyday care services in the profession of domestic worker
- Module 4: Person-group-oriented care services in the profession of domestic worker
- Module 5: Domestic services for people in special circumstances in the profession of domestic worker
- Module 6: Marketing for domestic products and services in the profession of domestic manager
Plus modules with job-related language support:
- Module 7: Cleaning and maintenance of living and functional areas with job-related language support and integration assistance for the profession of domestic worker/housekeeper
- Module 8: Everyday care services with job-related language support and integration assistance in the profession of domestic worker
- Module 9: Everyday care services with job-related language support and integration assistance in the profession of domestic worker
Duration & Course
Entry is by prior arrangement.
The TQ modules typically last:
- 360 teaching units / 9 weeks [Theory and practice]
- 160 teaching units / 4 weeks [in-company trial].
The subject matter of the TQplus modules [modules 7-9] for individuals requiring additional learning and integration support [e.g., migrants, long-term unemployed] corresponds to the standard TQ modules. In addition, participants receive supplementary instruction with individualized focus areas, totaling 260 teaching units per module, and the vocational trial lasts 5 weeks [200 teaching units].
Financial support
The individual modules are AZAV-approved training measures and can be funded via an education voucher from the Federal Employment Agency or your Job Center. You need one education voucher for each module.
Employed workers can receive funding through WeGebAU and the Qualification Opportunities Act.
