Content & Services
JobAct® is a concept of Projektfabrik gGmbH, Witten/NRW.
Anyone, regardless of age, educational background, or cultural background, can take the stage. Theater gives us a voice. We become actors, experiment, and discover: When I move, something moves.
This project is about human personality. We believe that every person has unique abilities that need to be discovered and nurtured.
During the first six months, you'll discover a world where you can experiment. Through play, you'll discover your potential and skills.
The goal of the first phase of JobAct@ to Connect is the premiere of a jointly developed piece. The specific experiences you gain will be directly transferred to your work on your career prospects through accompanying career coaching. Younger participants benefit from older participants – and vice versa.
The first phase is supported by the following content:
- Theatre pedagogical exercises and coaching to get to know your own potential
- Support from a team consisting of a pedagogical specialist/job coach and a theatre or media educator
- Individual aptitude analysis, coaching, support planning
- Social-educational counseling
- Application and social skills training
- Acquisition and support for internships
- Support in job search
In the two-month second phase, you'll re-orient yourself to reality. A practical internship in a company will show you what you've learned, if you can apply it, and that you're on the right track.
Here, too, they are accompanied and coached by the teaching staff during team days.
Duration & Course
The project runs from October 2023 to June 2024 and will cover eight months. Two months of this will include practical work experience in companies.
