To improve the prospects of success in starting a career in the field of warehousing and logistics services.
Target group
The measure is aimed at people seeking employment subject to social insurance contributions in the warehouse/logistics sector.
Goals
Preparation for entry into the warehousing and logistics sector through:
- Introduction to the professional field, imparting basic knowledge, dealing with the topics of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, as well as legal basics, teaching basic IT applications, including application training, explanation of technical terminology
- Certificate of competence to drive an industrial truck
- Internship

Duration & Course
Entry is by prior arrangement.
Theory phase:
240 teaching units [6 weeks of 40 teaching units]
Mon. – Fri. from 8:15 am – 3:00 pm
Internship: 160 teaching units [4 weeks full-time]
Financial support
The prerequisite is the existence of a training voucher [issued by your integration specialist at the Jobcenter or the Gießen Employment Agency].
