Project QuABB
Within the Hessian state program QuABB, the BWHW Michelstadt is responsible for providing advice and support (training supervisors) to trainees, training companies, and vocational schools when difficulties arise during their dual training. Their goal is to guide trainees to a successful completion of their training. If the training is discontinued, the training supervisors work with the young people to develop subsequent career prospects.
The advice and support provided is confidential. The training advisors are trusted advisors and coaches who provide information and mediate conflicts. They work with all those involved in training in the respective region (chambers of trades, vocational schools, district trade associations, employment agencies, and many more) to ensure a comprehensive and effective advisory service.
The training support services usually have their offices in vocational schools, where they offer open consultation hours. All important information about the advisory services can be found at www.quabb-hessen.de/regionen.
With the QuABB program, the Hessian state government intends to reduce the rate of actual training dropouts in Hesse. This represents an important contribution to securing skilled workers in the long term. The Hesse-wide training support at the QuABB locations is monitored and supported by the coordination office at the Institute for Vocational Training, Labor Market and Social Policy.
QuABB is funded by the European Union – European Social Fund and the State of Hesse.
