The Bildungswerk der Hessischen Wirtschaft eV (Educational Institute of the Hessian Economy) is registered with the Frankfurt District Court under registration number 6592 and recognized as a non-profit organization. Its members include Hessian business, employer, and trade associations, as well as their educational institutions.

Areas

We provide our services in the areas of training and careers, school business, personnel services, corporate services and research.

Regions

With our Training & Career division, we are represented at over 60 locations in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, for which our regional managers are responsible.

Central departments

The work of our operational divisions is supported by the central departments of Digital Services, Policy Issues, Payroll, Human Resources, Quality Management and Administration & Finance.

Employees

The Bildungswerk der Hessischen Wirtschaft e. V. (Hessian Business Education Association) currently employs around 1,000 permanent staff and approximately 1,200 freelancers. The vast majority hold degrees in [social] pedagogy, psychology, social sciences, economics, or engineering. Many of them completed vocational training prior to their studies. In addition, there are numerous master craftsmen, technicians, and business administrators. We promote additional qualifications through targeted personnel development.
