The Hessian Business Education Association (BWHW) is registered as an association with the Frankfurt am Main District Court under registration number 6592 and is recognized as a non-profit organization. Its members are Hessian business, employer, and trade associations, as well as their educational institutions.

We provide our services in the business areas of education & career, school & business, personnel services, business services and research.

Regions

With our Training & Career division, we are represented at over 60 locations in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, for which our regional managers are responsible.

Central departments

The work of our operational business units is supported by the central departments Digital Services, Policy Issues, Payroll, Human Resources, Quality Management and Administration & Finance.

Employees

The Hessian Business Education Association (Bildungswerk der Hessischen Wirtschaft e. V.) currently employs around 1,000 permanent staff and approximately 1,200 freelancers. The vast majority of them hold degrees in social pedagogy, psychology, social sciences, economics, or engineering. Many completed vocational training prior to their university studies. In addition, we employ numerous master craftsmen, technicians, and certified specialists. We promote further qualifications through targeted professional development.
