SIA – LANGUAGE AND INTEGRATION IN THE LABOR MARKET

Language and integration in the labor market

The project "SIA – Language and Integration for the Labor Market" is aimed at people with refugee and migrant backgrounds whose German language skills are not yet sufficiently developed to find employment. In addition to promoting German language skills, the central focus and goal is integration into the labor market and society.

Target audience

  • They are capable of working and receive benefits from the social welfare and job center of the state capital Wiesbaden [according to SGB II],
  • They do not yet have sufficient language skills [classification according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages B1],
  • They come from an EU country or a third country.

Goals

With the "SIA" project, we support you in your social and professional integration and prepare you specifically for the training or job market.

Content & Services

This is a 6-month activation program. Through a combination of vocational language training, professional activation, and company internships, we can specifically prepare you for everyday working life in Germany and improve your language skills. You will complete a total of 9 modules:

Module 1: Individual coaching [60 minutes per week]

Module 2: Vocational Language Support (BQS+)

Module 3: PC Driving Licence

Module 4: Vocational Education and Orientation

Module 5: Job Application Training

Module 6: Company internships

Module 7: Social Integration

Module 8: Rights and obligations of women and men

Module 9: Active and Healthy

The SIA project is being carried out at the Wiesbaden site in combination with the program " Vocational Qualifying Language Support Plus [BQS+] ".

Duration & Course

Entry is possible at any time, depending on availability. You can participate for a total of 6 months. In exceptional cases, an extension to 12 months is also possible. Classes are held Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at BWHW.

Current implementation period: 01.11.2025-31.10.2026

Financial support

The project is funded by the social services and job center of the state capital Wiesbaden.
