SIA – LANGUAGE AND INTEGRATION IN THE LABOR MARKET

Language and integration in the labor market

The project "SIA – Language and Integration for the Labor Market" is aimed at people with a refugee or migrant background whose German language skills are not yet sufficiently developed to find employment. In addition to promoting German, the focus and goal is integration into the labor market and society.

Target group

• You are employable and receive benefits from the Social Benefits and Job Center of the state capital Wiesbaden [according to SGB II],
• You do not yet have sufficient language skills [classification according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages B1],
• You come from an EU country or a third country.

Goals

With the "SIA" project, we support you in your social and professional integration and prepare you specifically for the training or job market.

Content & Services

This is a six-month activation program. Through a combination of language training, professional activation, and internships, we can specifically prepare you for everyday working life in Germany and provide you with language skills. You will complete a total of nine modules:

Module 1: Individual coaching [2x per week at least 90 minutes]

Module 2: Language training tailored to your individual language level [GER]

Module 3: PC Driving License

Module 4: Vocational training and orientation

Module 5: Application training

Module 6: Internships

Module 7: Social Integration

Module 8: Rights and responsibilities of women and men

Module 9: Active and Healthy

Duration & Course

You can join at any time, depending on space availability. You can participate for a total of six months. In exceptional cases, an extension to 12 months is possible. Classes are held Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the BWHW.

The project is funded by the Social Services and Job Center of the state capital Wiesbaden.
