Preparatory course for the social services sector

Preparation for training in the educational field for people with a migration or refugee background.

Target audience

Our offer is aimed at people with a migration or refugee background who meet the following requirements:
▪ at least a secondary school leaving certificate that is recognized in Germany (or is likely to be recognized)
▪ German language skills at a good B1 level, better B2
▪ Desire to pursue training in the social sector – e.g. as an educator or special needs educator.

Goals

Preparation for training in the field of education

Content & Services

▪ Getting ready for training as a "State-certified social assistant", "State-recognized educator" or "State-recognized special education teacher"
▪ Internship in an educational institution
▪ Language support (including exam) – target level German B2 or German C1

▪ Educational support and individual counselling
▪ Teaching of job-related subject matter
▪ Support in finding suitable internships
▪ Themed workshops and individual afternoon activities
▪ Individual support to prepare for the start of training
▪ Support in clarifying training financing (BAföG, education voucher, …)
