Youth welfare in schools
Youth welfare in schools
Since the end of 2012, the Bildungswerk der Hessischen Wirtschaft (Hessian Business Education Association) has been the sponsor of the "Youth Services in Schools" program at the Fürstenberger-Realschule in Frankfurt's Nordend district. Since 2018, the "Youth Services in Schools" program has been implemented by our subsidiary PRO INKLUSIO gGmbH .
Frankfurt's "Youth Services in Schools" program originates from a resolution by the city council to establish social work in schools. The Frankfurt City Schools Office is responsible for its content management and financial support.
Target group
The offer is aimed at students in grades 5-10, their parents and teachers of the Fürstenbergerschule.
Goals
The program's primary goal is to ensure the educational participation of disadvantaged students, thereby increasing the number of those who graduate from school and improving their career transition opportunities. Other goals include imparting key skills, acting as a professional contact for students, and developing programs tailored to the students' real-life situations.
