Are you interested in an internship abroad during your training? Or have you already completed your training and would like to gain further professional experience in Europe?

About the “IndA” project
The “Internationalisation of Education” [IndA] enables young people and young adults to undertake a stay abroad in Europe of at least two weeks during their education.
Content & Services
Your desired international internship will be thoroughly prepared, supported, and followed up by your IndA advisor. We will assist you in finding an internship abroad. The internship content will be tailored to your specific vocational training or field of study.
Internship duration?
The possible funding period is between two and eight weeks.
Where?
Target countries: all EU member states as well as Turkey, Serbia, North Macedonia, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein.
Financial support?
Scholarship: Country-dependent grant for travel expenses, accommodation and meals. Erasmus+ covers approximately 80% of the total costs.
Application period?
Ongoing.
Participation requirements
Trainees can participate provided that
- They are in vocational training according to the Crafts and Trades Code/Vocational Training Act (all occupational fields) and have already passed the intermediate examination or part 1 of the extended final examination.
- English language skills and/or basic knowledge of the language of the destination country are available.
- the vocational school approves the absence if the period falls outside of the school holidays,
- a leave of absence by the company with continued payment of the training allowance is guaranteed.
- The internship is not completed during vacation time.
Professionals can participate,
- who aim to complete an internship within twelve months of finishing their training,
- with or without current employer.
Financial support
The IndA project - Internationalization of Education - is funded by the City of Wiesbaden / Office for Social Work.
