About the “IndA” project

The “Internationalisation of Training” [IndA] enables young people and young adults to spend at least two weeks abroad in Europe during their training.

Content & Services

Your chosen internship abroad will be intensively prepared, supervised, and followed up by your IndA advisor. We will support you in your search for an internship abroad. The internship content will be tailored to the specific training occupation or field of study.

Duration of internship?

The possible funding period is between two and eight weeks.

Where?

Target countries: all EU member states as well as Türkiye, Serbia, North Macedonia, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein.

Financial support?

Scholarship: Country-dependent grants for travel, accommodation, and meals. Erasmus+ covers approximately 80% of the total costs.

Application period?

Continuously.

Participation requirements

Trainees can participate provided

• they are in vocational training according to HwO/BBiG (all professional fields) and have already passed the intermediate examination or part 1 of the extended final examination,
• English and/or basic knowledge of the language of the target country is available,
• the vocational school agrees to the absence if the period is outside the school holidays,
• the company guarantees exemption while continuing to pay the training allowance
• the internship is not completed during vacation.

Specialists can participate,

• who wish to complete the internship within twelve months of completing their training,
• with or without a current employer.
