LA[H]N [Long-term work in crafts and nature]
The offer is aimed at young people and [young] adults up to 35 years of age who could not be provided with a training place, particularly due to the effects of the Corona pandemic.
Target group
People who
- have not yet been able to provide a training place due to the crisis-related situation on the training market
- have not yet been able to take up a training position due to their individual life situation
- Some have failed to meet the performance requirements of school, the training and labor market, or have acquired only a low level of qualification
- Need support in promoting/developing digital skills
- have a migration or refugee background and further attendance at vocational schools or other offers under the Employment Promotion Act are not appropriate
Goals
- Acquisition and development of digital skills
- Strengthening awareness of nature
- Strengthening and promoting motivation and self-confidence
- Knowledge and aptitude tests [mainly] for professions in nature and crafts
- Career orientation
- preparatory training and professional qualification through testing
- Starting a [nature-related] craft training or transitioning into vocational training

Duration & Course
Entry is generally possible at any time. The individual participation period is 10 months, and attendance typically includes up to 30 hours per week.
Financial support
The project is funded by the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration [HMSI] within the framework of the training and qualification budget and is implemented in cooperation with the Lahn-Dill district and the Lahn-Dill municipal job center and is a cross-jurisdictional funding offer.
