Fit for the Job [FiB]

The "Fit for the Job" project offers young people and young adults up to the age of 19 individual and tailored support for a successful start to vocational training and employment. A secondary school leaving certificate can be obtained during the program.

Target audience

• Young people or young adults up to 19 years of age without a secondary school leaving certificate
• School refusers

Goals

• Placement in training or employment
• Obtaining the external secondary school leaving certificate

Content & Services

• Teaching social skills
• Conflict and crisis intervention
• Promoting personality development
• Group lessons in general education subjects with preparation for the external secondary school leaving certificate
• Individual career planning
• Company internships for career orientation and vocational qualification
• Job application training
• Social work support

Duration & Course

Entry is possible on an individual basis. Participation ends no later than the completion of the secondary school leaving examination.

The FiB project is being carried out in combination with the program “ Vocational Qualification Language Support Plus [BQS+] ”.
