Coaching for communities in need

"BG aktiv" provides participants with advice and support that focuses on the interests and goals of all members of a community of need. The life situation of those involved determines the approach. Coaching focuses participants' attention on their strengths and what is feasible. Developing a new professional biography for employable participants is an important component of the process.

Target group

The offer is aimed at adults in need-based communities with children who have been unemployed themselves or as part of a need-based community for at least six months and who are resident in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district.

Content & Services

• Consideration of the personal skills and goals to be developed
• Assistance in balancing family and career
• Processing, dealing with and overcoming individual work and life conflicts
• Support with practical everyday activities with the aim of increasing independence
• Creating new experiences in previously unknown environments, e.g. through experiential learning elements
• Transfer of findings into everyday life
• Workplace inspection, practical testing

Duration & Course

The duration of the measure is usually 6 months.

Financial support

The allocation is carried out by the Marburg-Biedenkopf District Job Center.
