Chance 2.0 - Activation & Secondary School Leaving Certificate

The activation measure Chance 2.0 offers the opportunity to obtain the external (qualifying) secondary school leaving certificate and to gain experience in one or more professional fields through company internships.

Furthermore, the internship offers the opportunity to attract the attention of companies with reliability, motivation and willingness to perform, thereby significantly increasing the chances of securing an apprenticeship or job.

Target audience

The offer is aimed at young people and young adults aged 16-25 living in Darmstadt who do not have a secondary school leaving certificate, no training or job and do not attend a further education school.

Goals

• Achieving the secondary school leaving certificate
• Preparation for starting a dual vocational training program, or possibly starting employment

Content & Services

We offer optimal support and promotion through a combination of:

• Preparation for the external secondary school leaving examination in small learning groups
• vocational field-related testing within the framework of company internships
• theoretical and vocational instruction
• Media education and interesting projects

Throughout the entire program, participants will be supervised and advised by experienced educators.

Duration & Course

Entry is possible between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024.

The course has a duration of 12 months and is offered in Darmstadt (Pallaswiesenviertel), Eberstadt and Kranichstein.
