BeNeFIT Plus - Increase educational opportunities - Establish networks - Promote families and integration - Enable participation

The BeNeFIT Plus project strengthens and supports families and single parents in the Fulda district. The project focuses on actively supporting families and their children to improve their starting position and highlight support opportunities and assistance programs. The goal is to provide participants with access to social benefits and other material assistance, as well as educational opportunities, thus supporting professional and social integration.

Target group

• Families/parents with children who receive benefits under SGB II or SGB XII [including supplementary or top-up benefits]
• Families who receive or are entitled to child benefit supplement and, in the future, basic child benefit
• Families and their children who are at risk of social exclusion and poverty.

Goals

The BENEFIT PLUS project in the Fulda district focuses on the following goals:

• Improving the social participation of families with their children
• Individual support for social and professional integration and combating poverty
• Stabilization of the current life situation
• Access to advisory structures and further services
• Access to support opportunities for families
• Assistance in dealing with authorities and institutions
• Starting a job or training
• Taking up further qualification
• Improvement of the family situation

You can join at any time, depending on your individual needs.

The duration of the programs is tailored to individual needs. Participants are typically supported for six months.

The “BeNeFIT Plus” project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) as part of the “Akti(F) Plus – Active for Families and their Children” program.
