AQUAplus – Activation – Qualification – Support for Education and Work – plus

The " AQUAplus " project is aimed at people with increased support needs who require special assistance with (re-)integration into education or work due to health limitations, mental illnesses or impairments, or multiple barriers to employment.

• Job seekers who need support in developing a stable daily routine
• People who desire intensive educational and psychological support during their integration into education or work

Goals

The aim of this program is to facilitate participants' integration into the labor market through activation, orientation, and stabilization. Furthermore, participants will be supported in strengthening their motivation, developing a proactive attitude, and creating prospects for a medium-term (re)entry into the workforce. Existing barriers to employment will be individually analyzed and gradually reduced or, where possible, eliminated through appropriate training and support services.

Content & Services

The program builds on the existing strengths, skills, and knowledge of the participants. Individual support and training are provided in the following areas, among others:

• Preparation for entering working life
• Activation and development of a reliable daily routine
• Social integration training
• Intensive career guidance
• Application training and individual coaching
• Training in skills for integrating into the labor market
• Promoting individual learning strategies and crisis management
• Introduction to a company-based work trial
• Internships to gain practical experience in everyday business operations (where possible)

Duration & Course

The program lasts 30 weeks per cycle. Current start dates can be found in the attached flyer. Participation is based on an activation and placement voucher (AVGS) issued by the Employment Agency or the Job Center. Entry is possible daily within the first four weeks by arrangement. The training is part-time and gradually increases from four to six teaching units (TU) per day. Classes begin daily at 9:00 a.m. The program takes place at the premises of the Hessian Business Education Association (Bildungswerk der Hessischen Wirtschaft e.V.).
