We have been conducting projects for teenagers and young adults in the southern Hessian town of Bensheim since 2008. Our public clients include the local employment agency, the Neue Wege Kreis Bergstraße municipal enterprise, and the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs.

Dozens of bicycles lean against the wall, the air smells of oil and cleaning products, and tools and bicycle parts are stored on the walls and in boxes – the bicycle workshop, where refugees from the ‘Neustart Bergstraße’ project can repair, inspect, and make bicycles roadworthy again, has been in operation since February 2017.

Bensheim | The group participating in the BerufsorientierungPLUS Bensheim (Career OrientationPLUS) program, which started on September 1, 2025, visited the Diversity Festival at the Rex shopping center in Bensheim to broaden their horizons. In this career orientation program, participants learn about various professions in order to be well-prepared for a long-term internship, an apprenticeship, or a related field.
