SPRINT for men

The SPRINT for Men project is designed to prepare men with a refugee background and language needs for employment.

Target group

The project focuses on disadvantaged or low-skilled men receiving benefits under the Social Code (SGB II), the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (AsylbLG), the Social Code (SGB VIII), or the hidden reserve with a migration or refugee background who reside in the Hochtaunus district. Participation is also open to men who have a residence permit as part of the asylum process, but who are expected to have a high chance of remaining in the country. The project is aimed at men with a migration or refugee background who have completed the integration course but lack sufficient German language skills to enable integration into the mainstream labor market. Participants who have a minor part-time job can also be assigned.

Goals

The main objective of the project is to improve language skills by one level within the 6-month participation period.

Specifically, the following performance improvements are to be achieved:

  • This must be done for customers who are not literate.
  • Customers with level A0 must be trained to A1 according to the GER standard.
  • Customers with level A1 must be trained to A2 according to the GER standard.
  • Customers with level A2 must be trained to B1 according to the GER standard.
