ViA Job Placement
Support for employable benefit recipients of the Job Center with their professional integration. With individual counseling, application training, internships, and job-related language support, we will guide you step by step into employment. Entry is possible at any time – funded by the Wetterau Job Center.
Target audience
All employable individuals receiving benefits from the job center who wish to be placed in employment are eligible to participate. Participants must have basic spoken German skills and be able to hold and understand conversations in routine situations on familiar topics (level A2 of the CEFR).
Goals
ViA's objectives are to support professional integration by introducing people to the training and labor market, as well as identifying, reducing or eliminating barriers to placement and providing assistance in creating meaningful and complete application documents.
Content & Services
The program consists of group and individual sessions covering the following topics:
- Suitability and competence assessment
- Introduction to the German education and employment system
- Teaching and expanding job-related language skills
- Support in career guidance
- Job application training
- Internships
Duration & Course
Entry is possible on an individual basis. The program duration is 6 months. It consists of group and individual sessions. Daily attendance of 39 hours, Monday to Friday, is required. This includes approximately 2 hours of individual coaching.
Financial support
The funding is provided by the Wetterau Job Center.
