Perspectives for young refugees [PerjuF]
The program "Perspectives for Young Refugees" is designed to support young refugees in choosing a career, undertaking vocational training, and pursuing further qualifications. Its aim is to provide guidance and orientation within the German education and employment system. During the four- to six-month program, participants are introduced to the German labor market and prepared for employment through information about working life in Germany, an assessment of existing or required professional skills, and language instruction.
Target audience
- young people under 35 years of age who are aiming for vocational training in the future and
- Asylum seekers or tolerated persons with access to the labor market or
- Asylum seekers and recognized refugees are and
- who, due to their personal situation, require special support in entering the training market
- have completed compulsory full-time education
- do not have a first vocational qualification recognized in Germany,
- have little or no professional experience
- possess language skills sufficient to follow the content of the measure
Goals
- Orientation in the German education and employment system
- Providing knowledge about access routes, structure and functioning of the German education and labor market
- Career guidance and, if applicable, starting an apprenticeship
- Teaching/expansion of job-related language skills

The "PerjuF" project is being carried out at the Friedberg site in combination with the " Vocational Qualifying Language Support Plus [BQS+] " program.
Duration & Course
Entry is possible on an individual basis. The assignment period is 6-8 months.

The funding is provided by the Wetterau Job Center.
