Perspectives for young refugees [PerjuF]

The "Perspectives for Young Refugees" program provides support prior to career choice, training, and qualification. The goal is to provide young refugees with orientation within the German training and employment system. During their four- to six-month program, participants are introduced to the German labor market and prepared for employment by receiving information about working life in Germany, identifying existing or required professional skills, and teaching language skills.

Target group

  • young people under 35 years of age who are looking for a training course and
  • Asylum seekers or tolerated persons with access to the labor market or
  • Asylum seekers and recognized refugees are and
  • who, due to their personal situation, require special support in accessing the training market
  • have fulfilled full-time compulsory schooling,
  • do not have an initial qualification recognised in Germany,
  • have little or no professional experience,
  • have language skills that allow them to follow the content of the measure

  • Providing knowledge about access routes, structure and functioning of the German training and labor market
  • Career orientation and, if necessary, training

The "PerjuF" project is carried out at the Friedberg location in combination with the " Vocational Language Training Plus [BQS+] " program.

Duration & Course

Entry is possible on an individual basis. The assignment period is 6-8 months.

Financial support

The funding is provided by the Wetterau Jobcenter.
