Person-centered coaching

"Person-centered coaching" provides participants with advice and support that focuses on their interests and goals. The participant's life situation determines the approach. Coaching focuses the participant's attention on their strengths and what is feasible. Developing a new career path for employable participants is an important component of the process.

Target group

The offer is aimed at young people, young adults and adults who have been unemployed for at least one year, either themselves or as part of a household in need, and who live in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district.

Goals

• Showing perspectives
• Development of a new life and career biography
• Implementation of the jointly planned steps

Content & Services

• Identifying the participants’ strengths
• Processing, dealing with and overcoming individual work and life conflicts
• Initiation of additional external medical/therapeutic/psychosocial assistance
• Support with practical everyday activities with the aim of increasing independence
• Creating new experiences in previously unknown environments, e.g. through experiential learning elements
• Showing perspectives
• Development of a new life and career biography
• Transfer of findings into everyday life
• Practical testing
• Implementation of the jointly planned steps

Duration & Course

The duration of the measure is usually 6 months.

Financial support

The allocation is carried out by the Marburg-Biedenkopf District Job Center.
